We recently completed a commercial door, frame, and hardware installation project for Furkids Animal Shelter as part of a newly constructed facility. Door Resources supplied and installed all commercial doors, frames, and hardware throughout the building, helping prepare the new shelter for years of dependable daily operation.
New construction projects require careful coordination to ensure every opening is properly equipped with the correct doors, frames, and hardware. From installation to final adjustments, every component must work together to provide security, durability, accessibility, and long-term performance.
Project Details
From hollow metal doors and frames to the required commercial hardware, every component was installed with strict attention to detail to ensure the facility was ready for occupancy and daily use. We even got to play with a few of the dogs, and one installer almost brought one home.
We Installed:
Complete door opening installations throughout the facility to verify proper opening and closing speeds, safe operation, and reliable accessibility for daily use.
- Commercial doors
- Commercial door frames
- Commercial door hardware
- Hinges and mounting hardware
- Door closers (where required)
- Thresholds and related door components
Every door opening was carefully fitted, leveled, and adjusted to ensure proper operation and long-term durability. Our technicians coordinated the installation with the overall construction schedule to help keep the project moving efficiently, and before completion, each opening was inspected and tested to verify smooth operation, proper hardware function, and a professional finished appearance.

The completed installation provided the Furkids Animal Shelter with durable, commercial-grade door systems designed to support the demands of a busy animal care facility and help improve security, safety, accessibility, while providing dependable performance for staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Whether it’s a new construction project or a facility expansion, professionally installed commercial door systems help ensure every opening functions as intended from day one.
