We recently completed a commercial door and frame installation for Beltan Construction at the Cumming Fairgrounds in Cumming, Georgia. The project included multiple new welded frames and hollow metal doors, along with new closers, Falcon lever hardware, thresholds, and door sweeps.
Fairgrounds and other public facilities require durable door systems that can handle frequent use and changing conditions throughout the year. Hollow metal doors and welded frames are well suited for these environments because they provide the strength needed for busy commercial and public spaces.
Project Details
For this project, our team installed four new 5-3/4″ welded frames paired with four new 3070 hollow metal doors. Each of these openings was also equipped with a new door closer and Falcon lever hardware.
The project included an additional opening consisting of a 5-3/4″ frame and a 3068 hollow metal door. This door received a new lever along with the components needed at the bottom of the opening.

- New door closers on the four 3070 doors
- New Falcon lever hardware
- New thresholds

With five door and frame assemblies included in the project, our technicians had to ensure each opening was properly fitted for its specific door size and hardware configuration. The welded frames provide a solid foundation for the hollow metal doors, while the closers and lever hardware complete the functional requirements of the primary openings.
The thresholds and sweeps finish the lower portion of the assemblies, providing the components specified for the completed openings. Together, the new doors, frames, and hardware gave the fairgrounds a coordinated commercial door installation rather than a series of isolated hardware updates.
Outfitting the Fairgrounds with New Commercial Openings
This project provided the Cumming Fairgrounds with five new hollow metal door and frame assemblies configured for the needs of the facility. The combination of welded frames, hollow metal doors, closers, Falcon levers, thresholds, and sweeps created complete openings ready for use throughout the property.
