Door Resources recently completed a new construction project for Honey Hot Chicken in Alpharetta, where our team installed multiple prefinished commercial wood doors and hardware throughout the facility. This project highlights the importance of selecting durable, code-compliant commercial openings that not only perform well in high-traffic environments but also complement the overall interior finish.
Project Details
For this installation, we provided prefinished commercial wood doors, eliminating the need for field finishing and helping the project stay on schedule. These doors offer a clean, consistent appearance while maintaining the durability required for restaurant operations.
Each opening was paired with a hollow metal frame, delivering long-term structural stability and ensuring proper alignment for smooth operation over time, especially in a busy restaurant environment. The combination of wood doors and metal frames is a common and effective solution for commercial interiors, especially in food service environments.
We also supplied and installed a full range of commercial door hardware, including:
- Heavy-duty door closers for controlled, code-compliant closing
- Lever handle sets for ease of use and ADA accessibility
- Kick plates to protect the doors from wear and tear in high-traffic areas
Proper hardware selection is just as important as the door itself, particularly in high traffic eatery environments where durability, safety, and ease of maintenance are critical.
Installation and Quality Assurance
As with all new construction projects, our team at Door Resources ensured that every door and frame at this Alpharetta location was installed and adjusted correctly, with attention to clearances, hardware function, and long-term performance. From access points to restrooms and back-of-house areas, each door was built to handle daily use while maintaining a consistent, professional look.
