We recently completed a commercial door installation project for Archer Services at the Omni Hotel on Marietta Street NW in Atlanta, Georgia. The project included installing a new case opening frame followed by new stainless steel double-acting Eliason doors.
Double-acting doors are a practical solution for busy commercial environments where employees need to move quickly and efficiently between spaces like kitchens or utility rooms. Their ability to swing in both directions makes them especially useful in high-traffic areas where hands-free or easy passage is important.
Project Details
On this project, our team first installed a new case opening frame to create the proper opening for the new door system. Preparing and installing the frame correctly was an important first step to ensure the new double-acting doors would fit and operate as intended.
Once the case opening frame was in place, our technicians installed the new stainless steel double-acting Eliason doors. Careful positioning and alignment were necessary so both doors could swing freely in either direction and function properly within the opening.
We Installed:
- New case opening frame
- Stainless steel double-acting Eliason doors
- Double-acting door hardware
- Commercial mounting hardware
- Hardware and door adjustments
After installation, the doors were checked for proper alignment and operation within the new frame. With a double-acting system, proper installation is especially important because each door needs sufficient clearance and positioning to operate smoothly in both directions.
The stainless steel construction provides a durable finished door system suited for a busy commercial environment. Combined with the new case opening frame, the completed installation provides a functional opening designed to handle frequent passage and everyday use.
