We recently completed a commercial storefront installation for a doctors office in Decatur, Georgia, working with Meridian Restoration on the project. The existing entrance consisted of a single door, and the opening was enlarged to accommodate a new Trulite storefront double-door system with sidelights and a transom.
Replacing a smaller commercial entrance with a larger storefront system can completely change both the function and appearance of a building. The new configuration provides a wider entrance while the sidelights and transom create a more open, professional storefront appearance.
Project Details
For this project, Meridian Restoration enlarged the existing front door opening in preparation for the new storefront system. Once the larger opening was ready, our team installed the new Trulite storefront double doors along with sidelights and a transom.
The new storefront system required careful fitting and alignment within the newly created opening so that the doors and surrounding storefront components worked together as a complete entrance system.
We Installed:
- Storefront glass double doors
- Storefront sidelights
- Storefront transom
- Commercial storefront framing
- Related storefront door components and hardware
With the opening prepared, our technicians carefully positioned and installed each storefront component to create a properly aligned entrance system. Accurate measurements and fitting were especially important to ensure the double doors and surrounding framing worked together correctly.
The sidelights and transom complete the storefront design, adding glass around the entrance and giving the building a more open, updated appearance.
A Completely New Commercial Entrance
The completed project gave the doctors office a completely redesigned entrance with a clean, professional appearance. The new Trulite storefront system provides an updated look well suited for the medical office while making effective use of the newly configured opening.
Projects like this demonstrate how Door Resources can work alongside contractors on renovations that require more than a standard door replacement. When an existing opening is being enlarged or reconfigured, we can provide and install the commercial storefront doors and components needed for the new design.
